Lights Out Overview

Lights Out is a Grid survival game with real-time tile elimination with 96.0% RTP and high volatility. The maximum multiplier is 49,000x, making it a high-risk, high-reward game that can deliver massive payouts in a single round. Every outcome is provably fair — verified through HMAC-SHA256 cryptography.

Top Strategy Tips

1. Picking 1 tile on a 7×7 grid offers the highest max multiplier but the most nerve-wracking experience.

2. More tiles (3–5) provide a safety buffer but dramatically lower the max multiplier.

3. Early cashouts (within the first 5 eliminations) give small but consistent profits.

4. The multiplier accelerates in the final rounds — surviving the last 5 tiles is where the real money is.

5. Watch the probability display to understand your survival odds at each elimination step.

Understanding the Odds

With T total tiles and P picked tiles, the probability of surviving K eliminations is: ∏(i=0 to K-1) [(T-P-i)/(T-i)]. For 1 tile on a 5×5 grid (25 tiles): first elimination survival = 24/25 = 96%. By the 20th elimination: survival = 4/5 = 80% for that individual round. The multiplier compounds based on cumulative survival probability.

Bankroll Management

With a 4.0% house edge, Lights Out will cost you about 4.0 coins per 100 wagered over the long run. To survive variance: never bet more than 2% of your total bankroll on a single play. If your bankroll is 1,000 coins, keep bets at 20 or below. Set a stop-loss at 30% of your session bankroll and a win target at +50%. When you hit either limit, stop and reassess.

House Edge Explained

Lights Out has a 4.0% house edge (96.0% RTP). Multipliers at each elimination step are set at 96% of the fair value (1 / cumulative_survival_probability). The real-time cashout means you can exit at any point, but the edge applies equally at every step.

Provably Fair Verification

Every elimination order in Lights Out is cryptographically predetermined before you play. The entire elimination order is a Fisher-Yates shuffle of all tile indices, seeded by HMAC-SHA256(server_seed, client_seed:nonce). The shuffle determines the exact order tiles go dark — but they're revealed one at a time. You can verify the full order after rotating seeds. Visit the Fairness page to verify any past result.
